A SEMI-INDUSTRIAL
R&D PLATFORMDEDICATED TO BIOGAS

The Solidia Biogaz platform offers a representative semi-industrial environment for pilot plants dedicated to research and innovation in purification, methanation and CO2 reuse processes.

A network of experts

More than a simple technical setting for experimentation, it provides all actors in the biogas sector with essential skills and services to support innovative technologies on the journey to industrialisation.

Major partners around Solidia Biogaz

The platform and its development have resulted from the involvement of actors with complementary skills and support from major partners.

Teréga, which specialises in gas infrastructures, has teamed up with INSA Toulouse and scientists from CRITT GPTE around a common goal of developing methanation and biogas purification projects, thus playing their part in the energy transition. Cler Verts, which specialises in organic waste repurposing, supplies the platform with its biogas resource, and the Occitanie Region provides its financial help.

Pilot plants
currently hosted

The platform has several test beds to accommodate pilot plants on a semi-industrial scale and test them in an operational, representative environment.

Challenges of
the energy transition

Solidia Biogaz offers a site for experimentation on innovative technologies within the context of the transition from fossil-derived energy to renewable energy.
